Position
Professor 

Specific area of activity: 

1. Drug-Disease Interaction: Investigation of co-existing diseases or conditions (e.g., arthritis, pain, obesity, inflammatory bowel disease) that influence the efficacy and safety of drugs used to treat targeted diseases (e.g., cardiovascular disease). For example, patients with active arthritis do not respond to some of the cardiovascular drugs.
2. Drug Discovery and Development: Develop new drugs and formulations to treat arthritis and pain.
